The 4th Annual “Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival” will makes its way back to Tampa on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
This annual festival travels around the country and features some of the best brews and barbecue the Tampa Bay area has to offer. This year’s event will feature over 50 draft beers, aged Bourbons and delicious barbecue. Local breweries that will be featured at the festival include, but aren’t limited to, the St.Pete Brewing Company, Ballast Point, Cigar City Brewing, The Brew Bus, Small Town Brewery and Lagunitas Brewing to name a few.
Local restaurants that will be at the event include BubbaQue’s, Big Johns Alabama BBQ, Dunedin Smokehouse, Smokin J’s, Johnson’s Barbecue and many more.
Besides food and beverage tasting there will also be live entertainment including blues, rock and live bluegrass and games such as a giant Jenga and even cornhole.
Those in attendance may also visit some of the exhibits at the festival that will feature BBQ and hot sauces, a cigar tent and other brew inspired items as well.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in either “Tampa’s Best Beer Belly” Competition and the “Daisy Dukes and Boots” Competition.
There are a few different admission types to choose from:
- Regular Admission: $39 (Advanced), includes admission from 2pm-6pm, unlimited beer and bourbon tasting and a souvenir tasting glass.
- Designated Driver: $25 (Advanced & Gate), includes admission into the event only
- VIP: $75, entry into the event from 12pm-6pm, includes an exclusive tasting experience, entrance into the VIP area, Gourmet Bacon Tasting and two additional hours of sampling and tasting
Tickets may be purchased online in advance at a discounted rate.
The best option for parking is the Poe Parking Garage located just one block north of the park. An event parking fee of about $10 is usually in effect during events at the park.
