Opening Day is just around the corner and to get the youngest fans in the baseball season spirit, the Tampa Bay Rays will host a “Kids Pep Rally” on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Tropicana Field.
Just one day before the Rays’ home opener against the New York Yankees, the Pep Rally, sponsored by Sagicor Life Insurance Company, will take place from 10:00am until 1:00pm, and will not only offer FREE parking but also FREE admission.
The 2017 Tampa Bay Rays will take batting practice at 11:00am and children will have the opportunity to run the bases, just like their favorite players do during the game!
Concessions will be open and offer $2 water, soda and hot dogs. Children under fourteen years old will receive a FREE gift at the rally as well. Live entertainment and games will also be on hand to entertain fans throughout the event.
The Tampa Bay Rays will also be offering their “Stuff a Bag” Charity Sale which, for $10, fans can get as much Rays’ gear that they can fit into their designated bag, making them ready for the upcoming season.
Before leaving the Pep Rally on Saturday, be sure to check out the box office for regular season games as well as sign up your little ones for the “Rays Rookies” kids’ club.
Free parking will be offered in Parking Lots 6 and 7 and all fans must enter through Gate 1.
Tropicana Field is located at 1 Tropicana Drive, St. Petersburg, Florida 33705.
