Looking for a new and fun way to workout in Tampa Bay? Then the Fitness Program at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park is definitely for you!
Located in the heart of Downtown Tampa along the Hillsborough River, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park brings the serene views of the city and an amazing feel of an outdoor “gym” that make it perfect for a workout.
There are three free classes per week of all different workout types and all are welcome, but there is a limit per class, so arrive early to get a good spot!
All classes are taught by some of the best instructors in the Tampa Bay area and feature live music to help get all participants geared up!
“Zumba in the Park” takes place on Tuesdays at 6:00pm at Curtis Hixon. If you aren’t familiar with Zuma, it is a dance-style cardio workout that is usually done with Latin music and is so much fun that many people forget they are actually working out.
“Bamboolze Fit Club” happens on Wednesdays at 6:00pm and is a boot camp meets cross-fit type of workout.
On Sundays “Yoga in the Park” takes place at the park and features some of the best instructors in Tampa Bay. From now until Sunday March 5, the class will be held at 5:00pm, but starting March 12 and running Sunday, October 29, 2017 the class will be held at 6:00pm.
