“Christmas in the Wild” Roars Again at Lowry Park Zoo

Tampa Bay is the home to some of the best attractions in the State of Florida, one of those attractions is the very popular Lowry Park Zoo. Every holiday season Lowry Park Zoo hosts a Christmas inspired event for families of all ages to enjoy and this year their “Christmas in the Wild” event is promised to be better than ever.

Lowry Park Zoo is home to animals from around the world from Giraffes to Zebras and Penguins to Manatees. Lowry Park is also a rehabilitation center for many animals including local manatees that were injured in their natural habitat.

Guests who visit “Christmas in the Wild” will experience a holiday wonderland as the Zoo is dressed in lights and will feature appearances by not only Santa but also real-life Reindeer!

There will be Christmas carolers and live entertainment throughout the night as well as many different themed areas throughout the Zoo that will offer animal encounters and other experiences.

There are a few different ways to pay for the “Christmas in the Wild” event. If you choose to experience Lowry Park Zoo before the vent begins at 4:00pm, then you may purchase a one-day single ticket, which is $30.95 for Adults and $22.95 for Children (3-11) and will include all-day Zoo access. If you just want to do the Christmas event then, an “After 4p.m,” ticket that may be purchased for $22.95 each.

“Christmas in the Wild” is included with both the Annual Pass Holder and “Pay for a Day, Come Back All Year” tickets.

“Christmas in the Wild” will take place on the following dates in December:

  • December 2-3
  • December 9-10
  • December 16-23
  • December 26-30
